Default Something interesting...

Hey, you know that mission where you have to sneak by the Mantle... or the bonus is to basically kill everyone (clean the towers out) for Saidra... well, I found out that, as a warrior, you can attack and kill everyone at the top of the tower if you climb up the tower staircase and they're in weapon range. Not only that... but you can get your drops from the top of the tower from the top of the staircase as well.

Thought I'd share.

Ah, also discovery number two... Snowman Summoner does not trigger Iway.

I thought I'd mention this from the threads I've seen in the past where people can't get their drops from the towers... you can do it, even as a warrior. The staircase is the key.

I always knew you could go to staircase. Just click on your item, stand in front of the towers and press spacebar.

or you can use necrotic traversal on the corpses at the top of the tower...good luck getting back down again...

I've done it a few times when gold items/armors have dropped up on top.

That part I knew... and feel bad for realizing the staircase trick well after another bugger left a gold armor up top...

But it's good to know that if you have weak (or missing) ranged attacks you can still clear the towers fairly easily.

You can get on top of the towers as well, just by running up the stairs. A warning though - it is much easier to get to the top than it is to return to ground level.

Are we talking about the same towers?

Well, it's been a while, but IIRC I went into first-person view and c-spaced the archer while standing on the stairs. View got weird, so I zoomed out and I was up there beating on the guy LOL. So my 2 guildie buddies with me (all 3 were warriors) tried and they got up there too. Unfortunately, it took a good oh 10 minutes or so to get back down. Same thing - first person view and keep trying to run where the stairs are. I have screenshots at home, all 3 of us dancing atop the tower. If I remember I will post them tonight.

You should be able to pick up a loot up in the tower from ground level, just get close enough to the tower door. I usually clicked on the item on top of the tower from distance, then moved close enough with keyboard and then pressed space (or default action button whatever it is) and the item was mine

Easy way for getting down would be drop a low value item at the bottom of the tower before you go up, and collect it to get down.
